Govt. ITI Hamirpur was established with the objective of imparting skills in various vocational trades to meet the skilled manpower requirement of the industry. Institute Management Committee (IMC) was constituted for Improvement in the field of vocational training to equip the youth with skills, education & discipline for suitable industrial employment as well as self-employment. Institute has all the infrastructure facilities needed for the overall development of skilled manpower, like Workshops, theory rooms, library, Playground, Audio Visual Aids, and Hi-Tech Computer labs for awareness about computers to trainees of all trades. There are different trades of Engineering & Non-Engineering field, of one or two year’s duration, with a large number of intakes per year. The courses are affiliated with National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), through the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Government of India in the Ministry of labor, New Delhi.
